Day 14

I know the evil around you…I know how the devil taunts you. The demons always have taunted those I call My own. I advise you to flee yet stand your ground (2 Tim 2:22).  Speak to the darkness; it speaks to you, say to it My name, Jesus and tell it that you trust in Me. You know the truth and the way to where I am. (Jn. 14:4) You have truly become a listener. You have learned to get quiet. Much of the quiet and listening has been forced upon you. I know but you have learned to appreciate the silence with Me, where once you did not.

You still run and hide when you hurt. You don’t have to run from everyone. Some are sent to comfort you but remember that I am the great Comforter (John 14:14-16). Each are different souls, so there is a lot you will never fully understand about each other, but you can always be at peace, safe,  and at home with those you love. You are safe now and always will be. No running and hiding. You are not a child that should take great pleasure in hide and seek any longer. You are a servant. Put away childish things (1 Co. 13:11).

 "Whatever is true, good, beautiful…think about those things." (Phil. 4:8) What to do when you are hit by an arrow or dagger from the evil one? What to do when you feel sorrow or loss?  Stand, stand firm on the truth that you are loved, then keep standing. The truth is love. Do not wallow in pity or get stuck there. The world is full of a million things you cannot know or control. With your hungry mind, however, there is a lot you can know. You know that love is always the way.
