Day 21

As you watch My mother, as I watch her, behold her in her seven sorrows. Sin causes such sorrow. I am deeply saddened and weep for your cities, all My sinning children, and the least loved among you. I wept for Lazarus, and the losses that pierce your hearts here on earth (John 11:35). Do not forget that I anguished as My hour of crucifixion had come (Luke 22:44).  I am Jesus of all, but I long for what I do not have-the souls that do not love Me; I long for all souls to choose life and eternal bliss with Me. Who that I created does not want this happiness? It escapes them in this life, happiness.  If they would only listen to Me in My Word as I tell them how to be blessed and happy. I know and feel deeply, the loss of souls that seek a happiness in attachments in this world, when true happiness comes only from Me. My children exchange truth for lies about happiness and they lose Me. They exchange a fleeting happiness here and shun Me. They exchange morsels of sorrow felt here on earth in exchange for eternal life. And many, in seeking happiness, find their own destruction.

But if you come to Me for happiness, in the midst of worldly sorrow, I will soften the hearts that you ask of Me and contend with those that contend with you (Is. 49:25), in leading others to come to Me. If you ask, before they even know they have need of Me, I have an open door to act in their lives. This is the beauty of prayer and of My including you in the work of salvation. I want you to know the joy I know and the ache I know so that we can know each other. I always act on earth through someone’s prayer. I have bound Myself to this by love.
