Day 37

There is no other path to love than the cross. Can’t you see in your own life that she who shows you the deepest compassion and mercy has been broken in an area of her heart. In that broken place, she has let love fill the holes of broken places in her heart.  It is there in that wounded, broken place, that love overflows from deep crevices and valleys of pain to fill one with compassion and love.

Willingness to admit, publicly proclaim and embrace, one’s brokenness is a prerequisite for love. This is why I say, “when you are weak, then you are strong in Me”. (2 Cor. 12:10) My followers do become strong in their broken places. Indeed, their broken admissions are the only fortresses of spiritual strength in the world of men.

I only allow broken, wounded souls to proclaim My greatness because no other soul has been touched deeply enough by Me, by her own weakness in the world to be open to Godly greatness. It is so logical that a being who has nothing to do with her own creation, fall humbly and gratefully at the feet of her Creator. But logic does not always rule men’s hearts. Love is logical. The good of others, love towards them and all creatures and their Creator is logical. But pride is real. It confuses men’s logic and men’s love.
