Day 47

I desire questions from My children. When I say in My Scriptures that “there is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end leads to death” (Proverbs 14:12).  I am talking about self- will which leads to sin and death. Only My will and ways, which are pure love, leads to life.

Self- will is destroying many marriages. Strive to lay down your life and will and emotions in marriage. Submit your will, mind and emotions to Me. Do this regardless of what your spouse does. Let shellfish self die; wave it goodbye to find a greater happiness. Love is too great a thing to let selfishness rule. Lay down your life to find real love. I evoke love by My humility and servanthood. Is not that what draws you to Me- that I am so great and so loving yet I lay down My life so humbly?  Let’s say what this is – it is a beautiful thing to see a being of greatness humble himself or herself for love.  The lion lying down with the lamb, the strong man comforting his tearful wife, a young boy leading a simple, helpless sheep.

The way of My will –the gentle, strong, fearless way is My way-My will.  Love to do My will. It is the only way to joy and peace. But you must know Me and spend time with Me to know My will.
